Revive: The Art of Organics August Box Review

Revive: The Art of Organics August Box Review

It's yet again, another month & so you know the drill: another Art of Organics clean beauty box review. The REVIVE box features a multipurpose balm & hair mist that are intended to liven up hair and skin. The thing I liked the most about this box was that the products smell so so delicious! Both products have this fruity-fresh, indulgent smell that's kinda like a farewell to summer.

Herbivore Botanicals Coconut + Sea Salt Sea Mist

Everytime I get a product from Herbivore, I'm always super excited to try it. The clean packaging gets me every single time! I actually tried the original lavender-scented Sea Mist from Herbivore a few years back and loved how it made my hair feel soft & fresh. However, it didn't give my hair any added texture. And so, I wasn't too surprised when this version didn't work on my hair either. Nonetheless, I still spritz this mist on 2nd day hair to keep my long hair feeling soft & smelling like that coconut-y goodness. It's perfect as a hair perfume.

Wabi-Sabi Botanicals BODHI Citrus Mimosa Balm Concentrate

The perfect storm: oranges + chocolate. Now this brand is completely new to me, but if all their products smell this decadent, I really have to try more Wabi-Sabi Botanicals products. This balm can be used on your face, body & hair making it a nice 3-in-1 moisturizer. I used this sparingly in August because my skin leans more towards the oily-combo side of the spectrum. The few times I used it, I woke up with nicely moisturized & rejuvenated skin. I feel like the citrus really energizes dull skin. The texture is very rich and creamy which I will definitely enjoy in the wintertime when I start getting those random dry patches. On the plus side, it doesn't clog my pores. The only downside is that the product can get kinda messy because it melts so easily. The balm turned into an oil during the heatwave last week and leaked out of the jar. Overall, I really enjoyed this product. I'll probably find myself reaching for it frequently because of that delicious scent!

Until next time, Megan.
