ways to go: lashfood phyto-medic enhancers review

Happy Friday again! Today, I want to talk about a subject that has always been an insecurity of mine. Growing up, I never fully embraced my Asian features. Western culture played a huge influence on my conventional standards of beauty. It was pretty vain of me to focus so much on my outer appearance but having short, straight eyelashes, hooded eyes, and sparse eyebrows really didn't boost my confidence. Now that I'm in my 20s, I'm finally learning to embrace my strong Asian features. However, that doesn't mean I can't get a little help.

When LASHFOOD contacted me about being an Ambassador for their brand, I was pretty excited. I've always wanted to try their Phyto-Medic Enhancers to see if they could give my features a boost. Having barely visible lashes and brows can seriously make my face look pretty dull and tired. Not always the best look. However, LASHFOOD's Phyto-Medic Eyelash & Eyebrow Enhancers have helped me embrace my makeup-free look.

The cool thing about these enhancers is that they are Ecocert Certified all organic & vegan. I love the formulation. It is lightly scented & very cooling to apply to the skin & lashline. Super refreshing to apply on hot summer nights. I believe the natural. organic ingredients are more gentle (especially on the eyes) and is why I did not experience the irritation that many people get from using products like Latisse.

The lashes. The LASHFOOD Phyto-Medic Eyelash Enhancer is intended to help provide the appearance of thicker, longer lashes by--in a literal sense--feeding the lashes with powerful, natural ingredients. After using this product for nearly 15 days, I've certainly seen fortified, thicker lashes. As for the length of my lashes, I think I have to use this product for a full month to see more results.

The brows. The BROWFOOD Phyto-Medic Eyebrow Enhancer tackles the same issue. It helps provide the appearance of thicker, fuller brows. So my eyebrows were already pretty sparse, but I thought it was a good idea when I was 10 to pluck them even more. What can I say? Pencil-thin brows were in at the time. For that reason, I have a patch in the middle of my left eyebrow that no longer grows any hair. That's where BROWFOOD comes into play. I saw immediate results with this product. After about 5 days of continued use, I noticed that the balding section of my eyebrow was no longer visible. The enhancer seems to be reversing the effects of over-plucking. Plus, now that I have thicker brows, it's a lot easier to shape them!

Hopefully I continue to see more progress with these products as I use them over the next few months. Each enhancer is housed in a sturdy packaging with enough product to last 3 months. While both are pricey, I would recommend giving these a try if you share the same struggles as I do.

Until next time, Megan.
