The Importance of Antioxidants: Urb Apothecary Green Tea Serum Review
When I first started using this serum, I remember one day my boyfriend took a long, close look at me and said "Your skin looks really..clean.." Well, I totally agree with him! This serum has helped me survive a massive hormonal breakout during my recent time of the month. I feel like this serum really "purifies" my skin and helps reduce the irritation and swelling that I get from painful cystic acne. I also find it really therapeutic to press this oil serum into my skin. The scent is very relaxing and the texture is lightweight.
Furthermore, I love that this serum is rich in antioxidants (including green tea, vitamin E, chamomile, and calendula)! Antioxidants can bring major benefits to your skin with continued use. They are powerhouses for:
Fighting against damaging free radicals from sun exposure
Minimizing the appearance of wrinkles
Promoting healthy cell regeneration
The only con that I have about this serum is that it does not prevent my breakouts. However, it is not enough of a reason to stop me from continuing to use this serum! It is important to keep in mind that no matter how much we want to rely on products to solve all our problems with acne, some breakouts come from poor diet, stress, and hormone or environmental changes that are sometimes out of our control. And so, I will definitely buy the full size after I finish the sample!
