Today, I want to talk about some of the products that have really become staples to my daily routine. As you all know, I recently started incorporating natural products into my skincare and makeup. The brand that actually introduced me to this idea of "clean beauty" was Honest Beauty. I decided to try their products during the Ulta sale and I immediately fell in love. I am very loyal to their Refreshingly Clean Gel Cleanser. After I started using this cleanser, my skin has seen tremendous improvement. I always feel clean, hydrated, and smooth after using it. I'm hooked! I can say so many good things about Honest Beauty products. I use their Magic Balm, Luminizing Powder, Everything Primer, and lip glosses almost every day. I recently bought their Dependably Clear Oil-Free Moisturizer and Everything Cream Foundation too.
I also use the Urb Apothecary Green Tea Serum every day to tame my oily skin because what's the point of wearing makeup if my oily skin will just melt it all off? You can probably guess that my makeup staples are currently dominated by Honest Beauty and Glossier products. I use my Glossier Haloscope, Boy Brow, and Coconut Balm Dotcom on repeat.
I generally like to spritz some of Birchrose + Co.'s Repair Tonic before using my sunscreen and primer to help them absorb quickly into my skin. I use this toner for everything--as a setting spray or afternoon pick-me-up, you name it! I cannot stress how important it is to wear sunscreen every time you go outside. The one I like to use is the Alba Botanica Very Emollient Facial Sunscreen SPF 30. It gives my skin a little extra moisture and a nice glow, which is perfect for me since I like to use oil-free moisturizers. The last thing I tend to is my hair. I have fairly thick straight hair that is prone to awkward flyaways and dry ends, so I like to use Ouai products to tame the beast. I use the Ouai Hair Oil to smooth and moisturize and the Wave Spray to add some body and texture to my hair.
If you have any holy grail products, comment below! I'd love to hear about the products that have changed the beauty game for you.
Until next time, Megan.
